cdr 2005 upgrade

just wondering if it's possible to upgrade my crappy cdr2005 cd player with another vectra head unit ?
Would like one with a bigger screen and maybe satnav if possible
My cars only half canbus 2003 2.0 Sri Ls. I know I will more than likely need tech 2 but not sure what models would fit in my car

I will see what I can do. I think your best bet would be a 2013 ncdc or 2015 ncdc. No need to change the aerial as you can get an internal one for the satnav cheap on ebay. You will need an uprated screen as well. These things dont come cheap tho!!!

Hmmm, I will find out. Satnav must have been fitted to half canbus cars. There was one with just a yellow and black screen rather than a colour screen if I remember correctly

It has been done, Think it was done with a HU and screen "pair", was from an Omega which is deffo not cambus. Will try and find the info.

Right, I got these links from a post on V-sport ages ago. It has been done, and a guy on here has also done it to his half canbus HU.
