Empty Washer reservoir warning

Hi all,

08 Vectra Elite- I assume that when it's empty, you should get a warning from the BC that it's near to empty?

Washers ran out on the way home and I didn't get any warning.

Also, what is the point of BC1 and BC2? From what I can tell, they're both the same.

I never let mine get that low so can't coment on the low level.

Two timers that's all.

my 55 plate sri used to warn you of low washer fluid but iv never seen it on my 08 elite yet

I'd have thought that all of them would have it, but you never know with Vectras these days....

The 2 BC's are so you can have to seperate trip counters, so one from when the car was new, and another from when you last filled the tank up...

Although it resets them all when you disconnect the battery...

nope you only get the warning, if the sensor is present, and tech2 to the checkcontrol..

I thought all vectra models had it by default. I would have expected the elite model to have by defaul since my previous SRi had it

Was the sensor dropped on the facelift?

mine is an 06 sri and it told me yesterday to fill the bottle up on my CD70 display. Not sure about other models.

Nope, all 3 of my facelift's have had it.

It doesn't mean it hasn't been dropped later on though.
