i have decided

to get rid of my vectra,i did not buy a diesel to get a car that does 31mpg urban,especialy a 1.9 diesel,and this is not in solid traffic either,i just cannot justify or afford the running costs of my car,i should have bought a 3.0 diesel as that would justify this sort of economy,i can get no better than 45mpg whilecruising at 65mph

this mileage is after doing 130 miles on the motorway,30 miles on an A road and the rest urban

this is the range left and the fuel gauge is also confirming the range
ignore the fuel used and average mpg,this was reset,just look at the range

yea i get an average of 45.5mpg and mine is remapped so something cant be right

Clearly not normal, is everything ok with the car....?

i have had no eml lights,no running issues,no excess smoke,egr has been cleaned,DPF has been regenerated,it does occasionaly have a very slight misfire but only at idle,the only issue i do have is with a tuning box on when the engine is hot i get some hesitation,it is very noticiable,does not do it without the tuning box (tuning box has been remapped for a dpf),to be honest i cannot afford to keep chucking money at the car and getting no where

my computer shows a max of 48mpg,and it is 8% generous,and if you read my post above it would explain things

Have you ran the car without it for a week or two..? What mpg do you get then..?

most of the mileage was done without the tuning box,i took it off after getting severe hesitation on the motorway,the tuning box is diesel tuners system box which is not a cheap box and id reprogramable which i did get done
