Default Parking Ticket - Opinions Please ?

We got a ticket yesterday whilst sorting out an important repair (gas leak) .
We were parked in a loading bay on a pay and display car park.
Always use this bay everytime we go to this place , but this time we got a ticket - parked outside of the bay markings ... wtf ? the only thing I can think is they are saying we had parked over the pavement .
So we rang the number on the ticket and they said we had to write to them to dispute it .
They also said the warden had photographic evidence of the "violation" well .. so have I was the reply .
Wat do you guys think ??

I parked outside Frankie & Benny's in Altrincham a month ago in a loading bay for 5 hours whilst doing a service and never got a ticket as the manager said it was ok to be there.
2 weeks ago i went to fit some parts and was in exactly the same place for 3/4 of an hour. I was back and to getting parts/tools etc the whole time but got a ticket
I phoned to question it and was told that the first time i must have been lucky WHAT????? Lucky not to be seen for over 5 hours

They are a law unto themselves and there is no arguing with them. Luckily my company pay all parking fines so it didn't cost me but still pi$$ed me off

My opinion on parking and tickets.

So, in a loading bay and not loading?

If it says you can't park, and you did, then the ticket is valid.

There are parking rules for a reason. Break them and expect a ticket - don't break them and you won't get one.

    End of story.

I think a few people have missed my point , the bay is exclusively used by the place we were working at , maybe I forgot to mention that , the point I was trying to get accross was the fact they had done me for something I had not done ( as in parked outside the flippin bay , as in the pictures lol ) nvm.

There are dotted lines just accross the area to mark it as a bay , it's sort of like a layby if you like , I could'nt get great photos as I only had my phone lol .

This is what I don't understand either , we are parked inside the bay markers and not overhanging the footpath , as I said I can only guess they are trying to get me for being over the pavement with the nose of the van , nothing else makes sense , but still I have the pics to show it aint over the pavement.
