Z30DT with issues.... Surprised aren't you !

Hi folks, are there any owners still here who've had the usual problems ? I don't want to go into War & Peace if everyone's thrown the towel in and gone home LOL

Hi, I had to get rid of my Z30DT about 2021 due to a water pump leak, I'll explain below. During the 5 years I had the car I probably had quite a number of the problems most have suffered, but I'm sure there are more!

The main problems I had were:

1. I would guess the highest complaint amongst owners - fuel pump... I had to replace the suction control valves twice.
2. Air flow sensor.
3. Inlet pressure sensor.
4. Various other electrical issue, ie cruise control would randomly turn itself off.
4. Exhaust falling off - twice.
5. Water pump.

The final nail in the coffin was a leak from the water pump. For most engines this is not usually a big job, but the water pump on this engine is buried in the engine meaning the cost of replacement was going to exceed the worth of the vehicle.
I did enjoy driving the car when it was running well, I bought it at 79K miles and when I scrapped it it has 175K.
