Yes I just did... I have seen all the repairs you've done compared to me just fixing the few little things I found on a car that wasn't 100% and is the same age I'd say yours is less reliable as I did not have to touch the engine at all.
Ps it's not a manual gearbox but a CVT with unlimited gears... unless you put it in sport mode where it switches to 7 plates with set gear ratios.

I haven't touched the engine either except replacing parts that should have been replaced but the previous owners didn't bother to do it. Clutch? Was original. Timing? original. I still run the original water pump. So maintenance and monkeys.

So now you put the blame on monkeys and bad maintenance? Same as mine so yours is unreliable... even more so since mine hasn't seen any monkeys to make it worse lol

lol nope it's not an audi forum if you want to see some click here
I didn't take a lot of pics as I couldn't be bothered. there are a few pics from when i bought it and than 1 after i polished it and the other to show the s-line puddle projector output.
Just me being hands on fixing it rather than stopping to take pictures.
but if you look closely you'll see that the calipers are red now, the car has wind deflectors all over, the aerial on the roof has been deleted, all the wheels have been repainted, the headliner isn't sagging(you can spot it in the earlier pictures) the grille and logo have been repainted, autobox has been fixed... and everything i did myself. I still have a few things i need to sort and not one single picture of me working on it will be shown as these days I can't be bothered to stop the work to take a picture... I just do the job, clean up and call it a day.

just added the parrot ck3100 BT kit to the oem radio... was wondering why the thing didn't turn on... found out that the OEm radio wiring is 100% canbus controlled so the oem radio uses less than 12v to operate... so found a switched 12v fuse, used a piggyback fuse holder and added a new electrical circuit to the mix and voila! working parrot unit... i hid the microphone where the oem microphone sits when you get a car that has a carkit so no microphone insight, yet people can hear me clear as day... I also made sure that the rear speakers don't switch off but play at a lower volume whilst using the bt kit... one thing i always hated from my Pioneer double din unit... I still got it but decided against putting it in it looks out of place... with the veccy i didn't mind it at all but yeah in the audi it just looks less good... might get an RNSE-2 OEM multimedia unit to replace the oem radio i have now.... but that is only if i decide to keep the car longer than intended... (i probably will it's one of these things cars grow on me and than all off a sudden i'm spending to much money on them)

well i re-aligned the front bumper today... I pulled it off to polish the headlights put it back and didn't do it the right way... left it for months like that, today decided that enough was enough so went out and removed the fixings on it to put it on right... I missed the 2 bits that you can level the front with I wondered why it didn't want to come up but hey he who looks again soon notices what he has done wrong... anyway leveled them fitted the middle first than fixed it in place... result the bonnet to grill gap is back to what it should be... de headlights look like they are seamless erected from the bumper so that is a good result. no more accident look on it... i also made sure that the bottom engine cover is connected right as that was loose too... don't want that flying off while storm Babbette is coming around to end the water shortages all those water companies were on about. Reservoirs should be filled quickly and mudslides are another warning....
