are 235/40 R18 tyres ok on a vec c?

rolling diameter results in 15mm less overall against the factory stock size of 225/45/18- not for me but would just look like a smaller wheel on the car (more arch gap) and also a speedo inaccuracy.

you change the wheel diameter specs with the likes of tech 2, or less talked about readers

whats wrong with my post? A vec which comes with 18" wheels has 225/45/18 fitted. 235/40/18 does not have the same overall dimensions or diameters. i.e. 15mm less overall diameter.

will be fine I'm sure, just your speedo will be out a tad, and look a little smaller than stock.

With 235/40/18 your speedo will be 2.3% out, your speedo will read to fast, eg when your speedo is reading 60mph you will be traveling @ 58.6 mph Or there about lol
