update disk for cd70 ?

hi all being seeing on forum about a disk which cost £6 from dealers ,anyone enlighten me on wot its for ,being dealers today asking for update disk for cd70 and they say the only one they have is £180 ,so where am i going wrong here .is it a laungauge disk or map update or wot ,,,,confused .all i want to do is update my screen to show a bit more detail instead of a arrow

The £6 disk is a firmware update. Makes changes to a couple of menu items, corrects a few errors etc. The expensive one is new mapping.

thankyou for that would you know wot the firmware disk does ,would it give me a street view or inprove the screen in anyway eg colour etc

I didnt really notice too many differences. do a search for CD70 and you'll find a load of info about it mate.
