Car locks itself as soon as I drive off, didn't used to before? Help please!!!

Hey guys

I got a 54 reg Vectra SRI CDTI. When bought, the car didn't used to lock itself as you move off but now it does as my brother fiddled around with some buttons. How can I get it back to how it was before ie so it doesn't lock itself as I move off.

To have all the doors auto-lock when you pull away.


1, Sit in the driver’s seat with the doors shut and keys in hand.

2, Press and hold the LOCK button on your remote key + simultaneously pressing the door lock button on your drivers door.

3' Keep pressing for around 10 seconds until your a faint SINGLE beep.

4, Test for activation


*To reverse either of these procedures do exactly the same as above but wait for TWO faint beeps*

Just goto Vx's website and download it. Alternately if you've already done that (like what I have) just copy the relevant page and post here
