V6 external oil coolers

Hi there, bought my 3.2 with split oil cooler,
On stripping the thing and seeing how much hassle it was, I decided to convert to a front mount.
Anyway, job done, and very surprised how much the oil heats up, and how quickly.
So how the old setup worked efficiantly, I don't know.
Once this conversion is carried out, that's it, no more oil mixing with water probs. That's worth it alone.

Did you use the external cooler from the 2.2 or a none VX item?

Hi there, used a mocal type oil cooler and had pipes made up with all the fittings.
Just made sennse to me for all the effort of changing the standard one, and cost, so though i might as well make it a perminent job done once.
