Arm rest, Centre creaking... Anyone?

Anyone sorted this out or had it...

Thought i was pretty lucky as there's been non on the vec, every other vaux i had i've stripped and put back together with rubber washers and grease! probably an OCD

Anyway, it tends to happen when brake and accelarate. when elbows on it - it doesn't do it as much... do you reckon its just the hinges that need greasing or do the all tend to do it?

Mine is creaky too; let us know if/how you sort it.

Thought about silicone spray?

Maybe slap some velcro pads down along the edges? Might help

i'll take it apart the next days off i get and see what i can do, i'll drive round with it full off 1st and see if it goes then strip it if so... Hate squeeks and creaking

Mine wasn't till a fat ******* mate used it to lever himself off the seat - and now it does
