hi everyone,
in regard to the aux in modification, seen as i am included in the topic, you say you dont fancy sending your cd70 headunit to a stranger, well ok fair enough. but these forums are based mainly on trust and as i am a member and have been for quit a while and also a well established and trusted ebay seller user id tigers2411, i can assure you all that anything sent to me for repair or modification will arrive back to you within a very short period with the modification or repair done, i hope this puts a little more light on the subject and i would also like to say that cristian can be trusted and always delivers as promised.
very kind regards tony
I know the comment wasn't aimed towards me, but I'm sure Coalfield was making quite a generalised statement and not implying any discredit at anyone.
I personally don't have an issue with trust, as although I haven't seen many posts by Tony, recommendations from Kemp are good enough for me.
Finances are very tight, and so only very cheap or essential work can be justified at the moment...hence why I asked about how to do it myself...just to keep cost down.
As my radio works fine and the modification is quite complex, then I think that I will just leave well alone.
