Adding Heated Leather seats? HELP please

hi all. i have just got a elite interior from a 05 reg. it has heated seats, but as you all know vauxhall didnt put much of a loom in the facelift (which i have 07)

What am i going to need loom wise to add the heated seats? i have a little flat plug behind the blank where the switch goes but dont seem to get any voltage readings? anyone know what pins i should be testing? take it i will need to add the fuse first? I have just ordered 2 switches so also waiting for them to arrive

One other thing-
where does the loom go to when it leaves the connection under the seat? dash? fusebox?

i have read some old threads but dont seem much help?

In my prefacelift it goes to the rear fusebox in the boot, fuses 16 nad 17 or something like that. They may well need tech 2 to enable them as well.

hi
thier are 11 wires to add in the body loom
and if you haven't go the switches behind the blanks you will need to add them aswell

i just added them to familyguys body loom
not a 5 min job m8

Do you have a list of what you had to add? think i may have dash wires as there is a flat connector with a few pins on it? many thanks

i will try and write it out and some diagrams of the plugs so you know what you are looking at.
i will need you email addy so i could email you the diagrams
just give me a day or so to get it write out for you.

what ever you do don't put the seats in just yet... get the loom first... and I don't know if @plasma still makes the body-looms for retrofitting stuff like heated seats... i suggest you sent him a PM. If he does you'll have a one stop place as he is the resident retrofit guru. He knows everything there is to know about retrofitting options to the vectra/signum platform and possibly the insignia's too.
