Germany mate. As far as I know (and that's not very far!) only corsas and vans are make in the UK.

Astras are made at Ellesmere port

As above, Ellesmere Port Builds the Astra. They did build Vectra's too a few years back after car production at Luton stopped. There were endless production issues so they concentrated on the Astra and Astra van. Vectra's were built in Russelheim. The Insignia is built there now.

I have loads of mates who work at the Ellesmere Port plant. To say they are worried is an understatement.
