very annoying noise inside interior

i noticed a small knocking noise inside the back rear passenger side maybe above the seatbelt anchor

any ideas?
i stripped the whole quater side trim tightended every thing i could
seems to be coming from the roof area too!!

Have you checked to see if the front passenger door has dropped slightly? That was driving me up the wall trying to find my rattle/knock, as soon as i adjusted the lock plate it was sorted!
Silence is golden.

I remember reading about a plate in the rear 1/4 panel,the welding wasn't up to scratch and susequently broke and the plate rattles,might need a bit more investigating,hth........

Yeah, this is a known VX issue - wasn't a recall for this (a bit of spot welding needed IIRC).

end of mystery!! was poor spot welding in the roof i driiled a few tiny hoels and rivetted them
silence is golden lol
