    Default Front off side bulb

    How do you guys manage to change the front offside dipped bulb without taking off the bumper, total nightmare, my hands/wrist are all scatched to bits,my back is killing me now and the bulb still isnt out....aaarrrrrrhhhhhh. ..... my old prefaced vectra was easier Im sure.

    Tam,

    Unless you've wee girls hands, the only other way is to partially remove the airbox.

    Bumper off and headlight out I'm afraid mate. According to the handbook it's a dealer job, which is crazy for a blown bulb

    Well you've saw my hands..... more like hairy Russian lesbian woman hands..... I'll try taking the airbox out...... I can get the wee connection out at the back of the bulb, just cant get the bulb to pop out.

    Tam,

    Am i correct in thinking you're talking about the normal H7 headlight bulb ?
    I've changed mine on a few occasions now. It's awkward but i can try and do it for you at some point.

    p.s. I've still got those Insignia washers in my boot for you.

    Thanks for the offer, I will take out the airbox and if that fails I'll let you change it keep the skooshers for me.

    Im correct in thinking the dipped beam bulbs just pop out, Im sure the preface I had the bulbs twisted out.

    Yeh, for god's sake don't try and twist them out. They've got that H7 "lip thingy" (technical term !!) with the prongs on. They'll just pull straight out.

    Thats what I was trying to do, just pull it out, but the wee connection just comes out without the bulb.
