    Default Goodbye to my vec?

    Hi

Well after 3 years of my Vec 2.0t xp is leaving me. It has never missed a beat in those three years and apart from tyres and servicing has not been any problem. It still looks as good as the day i had it and still draws admiring glances.
The bad news is that due to a car policy at work Vauxhall are no more so my dreams of an Insigina are smashed with the 1st Sept arrival of a Volvo S40
I have trying to pursuade my wife to take by the the vec but wont part from her sporthatch astra. They want roughly £6.5k for it which i think is a bit expensive but im not sure?
Finally for what its worth forget diesel (the fuel of the devil), if you havnt got one get a 2.0t, its smooth to drive, quick, refined, and most importantly doesnt put out black smoke every time you press the go pedal.LOL

    Cheers

    John

The ford Focus is a great car! only joking We have a 2.0d S40 SE Lux it is a great car and for 136bhp very willing, handling ok, however the biggest plus are the seats which are in another league compared to my 06 Elite.
