Redex

Hi folks with my Veccy being my first ever diesel car i was wondering about putting the redex fuel system cleaner and if its worth it on the diesel i have a 120 SRI. my last cars was a 1.6 Astra G Sport petrol and i put redex in at least once a month it made a difference with the petrol on the power and mpg was just wondering if you guys use it on your diesel?

I stick the odd bottle in, can't really say if it makes any major difference, though I've got some in the garage and will be sticking it in the Insignia before I head off to Pembrokeshire on Saturday since it's a good long run.

I use (and so do alot of others) Millers Diesel Sport 4. It cleans the fuel system and raises the cetane number of the diesel (more performance). The bottle costs about £12 but lasts for ages as you use it every time you fill up. It works out at 1ml per litre of diesel. HTH
