Default Signum 2.0T Elite - Mod Advice Required Please

    Hello forums,

I have a couple of questions I was hoping the learned Signum community could help me with please.

I have a 04 2.0T Signum elite, which I am very happy with, but would not like to tighten it up a bit.

    1. Firstly, she needs some new front tyres, so are are there any views on why the Falken 912's that are so highly respected, should not be applied. I do 90% motorway driving in the week.

    2. I have a brakepad warning light just come on. Should I just but new pads, or should I try to seek out the 314mm upgrade, as it sounds like a good mod. Where can I find the kit in stock these days?

    3. Nice car, lots of power, but wallows like a whale. which is the best suspension mod. I have been looking at the supersport kit on LMF. any views please on this kit or recommendations for another ? Also should I go 35mm or 45mm on the front?

    4. I the K&N filter worth the expense?

Any other recommendations for Phase I?

    All the best
    Darryn

    Stage one a must mod

We had pipercross filter and car hated it, although the engine management has kicked in again even though we but originally back in.

314mm upgrade a great one, not much difference to the standard though.

I do mainly motorway or dual driving and had coopers on and we good, think about £130 each fitted.

We've ordered Eibach srings from Steve but he hasn't got any in stock neither have eibach so be warned.

Ugrading the suspension makes a massive difference to the way the car handles, i've got Eibach springs and i love em, but a lot of people have PI springs, it depends on how low you want to go.
I've also got a Pipercross panel filter like Matt, but mine did make the car more responsive, i've also done the airbox mod.
BSR stage 1 remap=, after fitting it, the standard car feels a bit slow, so it is a must have.

The filter did make a difference when running right. Might need a new air flow meter in our car to solve the management light.
