    Default Interior oddments tray mat

Not a big problem really, but, in the oddments tray underneath the stereo there is a rubber mat to stop things moving about.

On my car this mat is very loose and just slides out.
Is this correct? How is it supposed to attach, mine doesn't.

I will probably use double sided tape to stick it down but was just wondering...

    Thanks, Mark

Its loose, but shouldnt slide everywhere due to the surface of the matt "sticking" to the bottom of the hole. Maybe yours in worn out Mark? You could get a new one or like you say, just use double sided sticky tape.

As above, it's not stuck in but it shouldn't slide around. Maybe the surface (of the mat) has become 'polished'. Give it a bit of a going over with some very fine emery type paper and that should roughen it enough to make it stick again.

Or clean it with some meths, that should get any grease of if that is making it slip off.

    Just checked mine out...

It has a hole in the dashboard area and the mat has a guide to fit in that hole. If it is position correctly, it should not move around.

Yep, mine too. It took me a while to realise what the hole in the dash was for...

Yes Ive just seen that hole. But the mat doesn't fit that nicely in it.

The car is 10 months old and the mat doesn't look worn.

I think its me being too picky.

I'l clean it first then sticky tape.

    Cheers guys
