Parrot Mki 9100 arriving 2mara, got last few questions

hi everyone

decided to go for the mki 9100 over the io play.

it will arrive tomorrow and i'll install it myself.

the how2 on installing it was very helpful. but i have a few questions.

my SOT 122 loom does not have a 'blue' live feed wire. its a red wire thats got '+12 power' written on it. is this the one to go to the ignition ciggy lighter?

also, in order to attach this wire to the ignition feed on the ciggy lighter, can i just cut the wire and then twist them together and wrap em in insulation tape? will that be adequate?

there is another wire on the sot 122 loom thats orange and has 'car light' printed on it. what do i do with this?

any tips on where to mount the display unit for the mki 9100? i would ideally like it just above the cd30's orange digital display unit because its nice and high, but will it be a mission to take out all that air vent panel to get the wire through it? any tips on removing it?

just took a photograph of the autoleads sot 122 adaptor to make things clearer.

need to know what the red and orange are for. thanks a lot

its just the red wire you need to connect to the ciggy lighter mate, the orange isnt needed well on mine anyway, hope that helps
