5k price difference before discounts etc - think I'd probably go with the Insignia. (The fuel bills for the VXR8 would scare me s**tless!!!)

I just saw the clarkson review of the vxr8, and at the end it shows 7mpg lol.

Yep, also had the e-mail today. I'm still not sure about the Sports Tourer but great to hear that the VXR is available in that style too. I may still end up with a ST - it just needs to grab me a bit more which it didn't when I went and saw one recently.

Love the vxr but for running costs a 2.0turbo 4x4 with a remap will be just as quick.
