Default Big thanks for the attendees

As per title I would just like to thank all of you that attended todays meet at Donpauls.
For a change to numerous to mention,
Wish all meets would get the support of Vec-c members like this one .
Special thanks to Martin of Auto Glymm, for the basic demonstration of their products and there uses .
Also I would like to thank Frank Cannon (no not THE Frank Cannon for you older members ) He is the area franchisee for A/G ,he gave us some very special discounts on all his products.
Mark the Cabby must of paid Andrew a haulage fee for all the amount of products he bought on the day.
Also a big thankyou must go to Donpaul for allowing us to use his premises and for putting on a demonstration of how to flatten and mop a car after spraying. This proceedure can be witnessed in some piccies Lump posted Earlier, not to sure if that guy knew what he was doing tho
I will mention a couple of newbies that came along for their first meets,
Diet and Mrs Diet, and later in the day Thefuzzyone (Pip) turned up
The day had a couple of very funny moments .

1 Dean(plasma) whilst waiting for his burger to be ready ,extended the vec-c meet and greet to new heights ,he offered hand to greet a guy standing in Donpauls door way asking what member name he was, only for this guy to say sorry GUV i,m just putting my car through the car wash

    2. Terry (Tadpole) Has raised the bar in attracting new members to the club.
A driver in a silver vectra was just leaving the same car wash when Terry SHOUTS out and beckons the driver over ,it went something like !!!!OYE!!!OYE!!! !!!!OYE !!!! you over here and come and meet the Vec-c.
The guy duly done what he was told and we chatted to him gave him a flyer and hopefully will be seeing him on the forum

I think a few members would like to thank Dean for his invaluable work on sorting out their motors for them,
A great right handman for his help in running the East Region too

But as ive said if it wasn;t for your support meetings like these would be pretty pointless,But having said that I would like to see more members from all areas making an effort to support the club at the official VBOA day at Duxford

So just to finish I would just like confirm that the Brentwood meeting is

I have to say just how much an enjoyment today has been.
We were blessed with good weather some great motors but most of all Great Guys.
Today was for me very reminiscent of my time in the 60s as a biker & meeting your mates for a good chat, sort out a couple of problems & a great exchange of banter & help in abundance.

Thanks to Mr Soulman & Mr Plasma for getting it together & a special thanks to Mr mhvcbv assisted by Mr Plasma for sorting those dam Door Cards of mine. The AG dem was very interesting & I now know I need more than one white bottle of spray stuff to achieve a good result. ..................

I'd like to reiterate what Soulman said, thanks to all who attended really glad to see members putting themselves out from far far away places to pop in and say hello

Was a pleasure helping the top RO man Mr Soulman Big thanks to Don Paul for making his unit available to us all, it was such a success that i think we're planning a repeat next year here

Sorry I didnt get to see you all off, I think Rob the Scot did his lone ranger thing again, dunno when he left lol!..

THANK YOU to everyone was a pleasure to be there.

And yes Glynn i did feel a bit foolish so i toddled off for a bit lol, but i did say to the guy 'You need a Vectra' and later i saw him drive off in his volvo convertable!
