    Default What tyres?

Currently have the standard Bridgestone Turanza tyres on my Vectra C but i'm looking at replacing the 2 front ones shortly as they are starting to get a bit low!

I can get a pair of Bridgestones for £235/pair but I feel that they are slightly too noisy especially on the A19 where I spend most of my time.

Other similar tyres i've been looking at are Goodyear Excellence (£222/pair), Pirelli P6 (£239/pair) or Continental Premium Contact 2 (£250/pair)

Just wondering if anybody had any experience of these tyres. I've read up a little on them but they all have their own strengths and weaknesses as expected, I'm looking for something that will preferably quieter than the Bridgestones but still have plenty of grip and last a substantial amount of time...

    Cheers

    John

215/55/16 are what i'm looking for mate.

I am leaning towards the Bridgestones again tbh as for everything apart from road noise they appear to be getting excellent reviews. The radio is there for a reason I guess

I have Bridgestones and the road noise is awful, even abroad on the toll roads where the roads are so much better that here.. I've just ordered some Vredestiens as they come out no 2 in a recent top 10 tyre poll, they were second only to the pirrelli P zero's..

Pirelli P Zero's where always my choice when i cared about driving cars. Very good in the wet for grip and brilliant in the dry. Not sure ow much they charge for them. As your not far from me i use to get Pirellis from M&M tyres. 195/45 R16 for £58 fitted. Do you know where M&M are?
