    Default lucky or what

i changed my steel wheels today for some multi spoke sri alloys, job done i thought, so went for a spin to see if all was ok, was going to try a good stretch of road and boot it a bit to see if there was any shake in the steering , before i got the length i noticed a noise so i stopped and checked the wheels, rear passenger bolts had come loose i must have only hand tightened them and forgot about them, could have been nasty if i had got on the good stretch of road.

Did you change the wheel nuts as well,as the steel ones will chew into the alloys and become loose.Just a thought.

As said above.I would replace them.If you check your alloys see if there is any marks from where the nuts cut in.better to be safe for the sake of about £25

well just changed all the wheel nuts, the guy i got the alloys off gave me the wheel nuts as well so all fitted and tightened this time, they seem slighty different tapered from my old bolts that was on my steelies, just gives me peace of mind, cheers guys for filling me in about the different bolts.
