Default Been looking at improving the brakes

    And found this, sounds good

    http://www.godspeedbrakes.fsnet.co.uk/frameset.htm

I don't rate the Vec brakes much at all. Single pot calipers?!?! These 4 pots look much better and larger discs. Very good price too.

    Any thoughts?

The name "Godspeed" rings a bell, I get the feeling I had a big disc kit off them years ago (and I mean YEARS ago) , if it is the same company then the kit I had was excellent quality and value !

Thanks mate, looks good stuff. I can't see how the Vec brakes are good with one caliper pushing one way onto the discs. 4 pots makes so much more sense and more progressive breaking.

I know what you're saying, but I came from a Vec B, and believe me, in comparison, the Vec C's brakes are spot on !!!
I like the brake assist as well, works really well, and I have physically noticed it kick in once or twice !

There's some nice 6 pot AP stuff on there too!

Don't forget that the VXR place do big brakes, as well, but they're spensive. May get a little discount if you get it done at the same time as the remap?

Yeah I tried to not look at the AP stuff. Might fall on the call accidentally otherwise

VXR do a AP kit yes but £1500. Love to get that fitted though!

Has anyone priced up the VXR setup. I quite fancy this when I'm needing new brakes and getting Drinky to drill them for me.

About £600 notes mate give or take a little bit if you have a bit of discount with VX.

Still only a single piece caliper though....
