How much tread is on a brand new tyre??? I'm looking at some second hand ones on ebay with 6-7mm. Is that good???

8mm new I believe. whether 6/7mm is good or not depends on price

anything from 7 -9 depends on make ive been told?? usually about 8 i think tho wud be standard.. maybe someone else will say otherwise..

All new Tyres come with 8mm of tread on so 6-7mm is not bad. Although pirelli's are a pretty soft compound so don't expect them to last too long especially if you drive it hard!!
