fully loaded, average speed over a ramp and that was the sound i heard from my work car today @ 5.15pm........
stopped and checked the car...slightly lower on one side at the rear......got to my mate's garage and put it on the 2 poster........

wheel's dropped and so did the off side rear spring, boing on the floor, pig tail gone.......

luckily no damage to the shock but a clean break in the spring, thank god i had the spring assister's on or it could have been alot lot worse...

car now sat on the ramp waiting for a new pair of up-rated spring's to be delivered and fitted tomorrow

Its ****** terrible though that these springs Snap, not acceptable on any car let alone a family car.

in all fairness the car has done 130k miles and has been used as a work horse for the majority of them, prob still original's too..., it will have been abused most of it's life, just glad i was only 1/4 mile or so away from my mate's place and that it wasn't worse as i had my brother, son and 2 little neices in at the time....

no mate deffo not good..........and lower no, uprated stronger one's, YES....had a price of £47 each plus vat tonight, but i know i can get some a little cheaper from another place vx want silly money for standard spec...
