Mods to day
after a very expensive visit to order parts to repair the car i thought i would do a few mods. 1st the mtec bulbs in the number plate lights which look good. then i put the rear light in which was the most nerve reckin thing i have ever done as i didnt want to mess up the headlining and i also had to route the cables from the front light but it worked well with no mess ups so well happy. just wait to tonight to see the difference
ooooh id like to see pics of the mtec bulbs for the number plate!!!
just taken the pics will post when i get home. the light in the back of the car is brilland a lovely light from the mtec lights. a happy finish to the day
Please dont take this the wrong way, but why would you want to put brighter bulbs in the number plate? just dont ge it? the headlights yeah, with you there, but number plates?????

They emit a propper white light, its not a case of being brighter, just a fresher look. most new lexus/bmw's have LED white no. plate lights.
Also i have done this modification- looks mint when you unlock it in the dark & they come on
