How much does it cost to refurb alloys?

I was cleaning the car yesterday and i noticed that there are a few places on my alloys that are starting to flake. Not really bad but still a pain in the ass.

Roughly, does anyone know how much it costs to refurb ?

Anything from £50 - £100 per wheel. All depends on where you take it.

Is there such a thing as an alloy wheel touch up paint..or something similar?

there is a kit for alloy refurb's on ebay, about 20 quid iirc, a refurb by some one else can cost anywhere between 25 - 50 down here....

I have a freind in Tamowrth who can use the works Mercedes Spray unit on weekends he does refurbs for £25 per wheel.

Gregg,

is it a case of leaving them with him? For that price i'd get all four done to get them looking new! I'd need to get some wheels to put on some how?

yeah he has them on the saturday and hopes to get them done by the sunday.

It could be that you leave the car with the wheels on and he has all four corners supported whilst the wheels are off.
