    how bads this as per pevious thread do you think its time for a new headlight??? or could it be saved?

    can this not be dried then resealed at all?

    Where's the damage? Have you tried just putting some silicon gel packs in there to dry it up? I had a problem like that. I had to change a headlight bulb in the rain and for weeks it misted up. Not as bad as yours but still locked stupid.

    Get it dry by taking the weather cap off and turning the lights on until it clears, then make sure you get the weather cap back on properly and see if it does next time.

    it says in the handbook, [i know, because i was actually reading mine at the w/end] that some condesation built up is normal, and that it will dry out. by using the headlights will dry it quicker. no 5hit sherlock!

    no damage can be seen,have tryed the silica gel packs but ran out as i only had 4.i did tell the wife that i needed to get some more, in a 42"tv there would be loads!!! but she was having none of it!!! did the headlights on most of sunday but looked a tit driving around alday with them on,it did clear slightly but the above photo was at 6.30am this morning when its at its worsed.

    In the past I have used the wifes hairdryer to good effect.

    Take the cap off the back and let it blow in.
    Be carefull with the plastic lenses though only use it on low.

    I was going to suggest a hair dryer to gently warm and dry it, then put the back cover on properly
