5 quid a month that's cheap.
not sure what limit i would need, it's probably only an hour a night, here, e bay, e mails, nothing much. no gaming or music downloads. mind you, the eldest does like to spend 2 hours on mememespace and faceache, or whatever those social networking sites are called.
yea that should be fine mate mines on for a few hours a day if its just general surfin it should be good mate it only uses a lot when im lookin at porn kik (im 200 miles away from home and my wife in a 16 man room)
I'm with 3. £10 a month for a 1 gig. I spend between 1-3 night per week in hotels, I've never gone over the 1 gig limit. It works well, not as fast as broadband, but fast enough for enjoyable browsing. Mattolly86, how did you get it for £5 a month?
Yupp I know alot about it... but from the technical side and not the operators... Might have to do something that I work with development of it
Currently using 3, £15 per month for 3Gb. Avoid, very poor D/L speeds around 1Mbps (they advertise up to 2.8Mbps) if I am lucky everywhere I have been around the UK but usually a lot less, but I was getting nearly 2Mbps in Edinburgh just before Christmas. Had T-Mobile before 3 when they were £20 for 2Gb, now £15 for 3Gb. Although I never got the quoted 1.8Mbps D/L speed but close 1.4Mbps once or twice in eighteen months (they are now advertising up to 3.6 or 7.2 Mbps depending on location) the service was much more consistent. 3 and T-Mobile are supposed to be co-sharing 3G masts since last summer but I have yet to see any improvement. My contract is up this summer so will probably move to Vodafone as I travel around quite a bit.
My sister has 3 also, as a second user on my account for £7.50 per month for 3Gb. She does not have a suitable land line for ADSL and cable BB is not available in her area Southampton. But gets similar results to me. So again when her part of the contract expires few months after mine she will probably move to Vodafone or one of the others depending on local signal conditions which I will check for her nearer the time.

What kind of speeds do you get in the UK?
Here in Sweden I'll get around 6 Mbit/s on the DL and 1.2Mbit on the UL a normal day at the office
