Get a grip mat from £land and cut it to size, far mor effective! And it covers the hole!

The bottom of my mat has a bump that fits into the hole and stops the mat sliding about

It's part of the moulding of the mat -it's simply a little 'nobble' on the underside in the centre. So if you're missing the mat then all you need is the mat.
