Default i must say thankyou to a police officer and warn you to be polite

iv had a warning for what some might say was braking the speed limit

i was followed for a few miles at a high speed i wont be saying the speed as it not needed in this case but i must say thankyou to the officers on the site as i can see they dont just book you

a remark from the officers was that if id crossed the white lines on any part of the road i was driving on i would have been booked for dangerous driving .

the saving thing from having to go to court for what i'd done was that not once did i cross the soild white lines to overtake but the officer wasnt happy about my speed but how i'd driven at the speed did change his mind on booking me

i was being a c--k driving at that speed but i stayed polite to the officer all the time , id been fimed so there was no way i would have got out of what id done,

so be polite and you may just get off with a warning

remember you drive like a c--k the officer will think your a c--k

I couldn't agree more fella. I was caught parking somewhere I shouldn't a couple of weeks ago. I said to the traffic warden that I was only going to be one minute and I was only there to load my daughters pushchair in the boot. He said that if I was gone in the 3 minutes it would take him to walk to the end of the street and come back again he would forget I'd been there!

I found that too, got pulled loads when I was younger. No point arguing you're not gonna win.

Very lucky boy Chris! I got three points for an average of 88mph over about half a mile on a dual-carriageway earlier this year as you may recall - so sounds like it was your lucky day and a lesson to slow down a bit.

Well Chris, its also probably a good timely reminder to remind everyone to slow down due to the weather as well.

Dark, Wet, icy, leaves.... we'll start getting the 'Ive crashed the car' threads soon.

Glad you're ok though, sometimes it helps for someone to slow us down a bit.

Good on the officer, sounds like the right decision

    EDIT: lol Duncan snap

some people make me laugh when they get pulled over and give the officers a mouth full???....i mean if you have done somthing wrong your own inteligence should tell you to butter them up...i always do, but you always have to call them somthing once thay have gone...its the law

Being polite and a bit humble never hurts if you get pulled over.

You still might get a ticket anyway, but if it's borderline and the officer is having a good day, and likes Vectras, who knows
