    Default Brake upgrade

    Hi guys

Once I've got the wheel wobble problem sorted, the first thing I want to do is upgrade my brakes. I'm looking to increase the size with minimal effect on my insurance.

I drive a 2.2 04 Signum. Can anyone tell me if the VXR brakes are a direct swap? If not, what can you recommend I go for? And where from? I've only got 17's and not enough cash to go bigger yet! Also, what pads are recommended by the VX experts on the site?

Id recommend the 314mm upgrade which a saab dealer sold for £150 including discs and pads. (Old thread on here some where). I use vx Police spec pads. Im sure others agree this combo works gr8

I take it they'll be a direct replacement for the standard front and rear discs? Not a mechanic I'm afraid and would be getting them done by my local performance garage.

Where can you get them from? And the Police spec pads? Are they 314mm for both front and rear? Will they fit with 17's? Will I stop asking questions?....

Nealry everyone upgraded fronts only as theres not much differnce in performance for rears. They easy to do. Even this there is a how2 on here.

Police spec pads from Vx dealer £80ish IIRC

Link for brakes here, they may have some more in stock?
