Car Tax

The Tax on a friends car expired 31st August 08, hes been away since 26th August and will be returning 20th Sept, if he taxes his car on the 20th Sept will it run from end of August or Sept?

End of August,if he buys it on the Ist of October then it'll run from that date.........

I'd leave it till the start of oct, but beware its all electronic now so they automatically know its unlicensed. It should be sorned if its not taxed

Mate of mine had similar issue, was on holiday and came back to find an automatic penalty had been issued

Just to be on the safe side Ive taxed it for him, (guess he'll have to re-pay me)

To be honest I would be expecting the £80 fine , they are 455hole5 .
