Automatic gearbox oil and cooler info required.

Right got a replacement gearbox but as its from a breakers they have drained most of the oil from it. So how much oil do I require to refill it?

Also does anyone know were this oil can be obtained at sensible money?

I'm going to bypass the factory gearbox and install a seperate radiator but I'm unsure on the sizing and although I'd like to stick as big as I can get on I'm concerened that I could end up over cooling the fluid. Does anyone have any idea what size I require and where to source it from?

Glad you got one mate , I aint got a clue how much oil you need to refill , but do keep us updated how you get on , I've heard a few tales of "make sure you get the box from the excact same age car " as it wont like your ecu etc , so keep us updated mate , gonna be doin this myself next few weeks.

That came from an autobox specialist , he said you gotta be careful , maybe he is just scaremongering cos he wants the work , but he did say if I fit the box , he will set it up tweak it etc - He's in huddersfield by the way .
