    Default central lock gremlins

hello all, does anyone know why my car won't lock via the remote locking or by using the key from the driver's side.? vectra 2.2 z22se auto.
Got in from stansted, pressed the lock button on the remote , can lockes and all doors button popped up again within a sec, checked all doors , bonnet , boot and filler cap, tried again but wont stay locked, just kept popping up, so had to lock the door individually.
does any one have any ideas please, thanks.

Seems like the "system" is sensing one of the doors in not well closed....some one will give you tips on how to adjust the doors sensors to avoid this.

I had this happen on an old Saab 9000, and they use the same locking mechanisms, you have 2 choices usually, dodgy wire on one of the central locking mechanisms, or a completley knackered mechanism, good news is they are only around £20 to buy from a main delaer, bads news is finding out which one causes it to happen

thanks for the reply , these things just happen without warning? do you know where those mechanisms are located or is it better going to the dealers? cheers

Usually just underneath and to the side of your door lock, there about 5 " by 3 " and black plastic, hardest part about changing them is taking your door card off, the unit itself is only clipped or screwed on

Default driver side 'door open ' indicator stays on regardless.

just noticed, that the 'door open' indicator for the driver side is on even though the door is properly shut. could that be the central lock mechanism. please any suggestions, i think thas why the central locking isnt working cos its showing up as door open whereas the door is shut. thanks
Just as Bluerob suggested.... where is the door sensor and how to adjust it please.? thanks

doesn't the picture show a drivers door open... but it's just for information that one of the doors is open?
