Veccy 2.2 Elegance info

Hi,

i have recently purchased a veccy 2.2 elegance.

I'm aware it comes with extra's.

What extra's are or were available for this car

Any help would be much appreciated.

all depend's on what spec the original first purchaser decided to have / not have.......

c/c should be standard, and steering wheel stereo control's, front electric window's............

ok i have a cruise control button(not tried it yet)
i have steering wheel controls.
Also have electric windows all round.

I was wondering what optionals were available just so i know what the car has actually got.

I cant believe i still have to close all the windows before i lock the car.

i looked at several vectra's before buying the one i got, yet none of them got very specific.

I believe i have everything apart from

Electric folding and heated door mirrors, Driver's lumbar support...

I'll have a look to see if i have the first of the two.

No idea what the lumbar support is tho lol

From the Vectra brochure of the time:

Driver's seat with full 8-way adjustment including tilt and lumbar support
Height adjustment on front passenger seat
CD changer (4-disc) with FM/AM radio and Cassette Player
Trip Computer
Illuminated vanity mirrors
Front map reading lights and 2 rear reading lights
Leather-covered steering wheel/gear knob
Front door sill plates
Chrome side window trims
Rain-sensitive windscreen wipers
Front fog lights
Indirect Night Lighting
Anti-dazzle Rear View Mirror
Body-Colour Door Handles
All-round Electric Windows
Two-tone horn

These are additional to what is standard on lower trims ('Expression/Club/SXI') at the time in question though the SXI was later improved/revamped.

Higher trims (Elite/SRI/GSI) have other additional features such as Leather/Heated Seats, Sports Suspension, Darkened Headlights and Rear Clusters and smoked rear indicators and Sports Bumpers.

Lumbar support on the driver's seat is standard on Elegance. Look for a 'cut-out' in the plastic side piece on the right edge of the drivers seat just above where the back of the seat meets the base This cut-out has a built-in manual adjusting lever which pushes out the lowest 'segment' of the seat back to provide lower-back support. That's what lumbar support is.

You dont mate, hold down the lock button on the key fob and the windows will go up. Hold the unlock and the windows will go down.

Ahhh cheers, just read it on the forum and tried it. So glad. also a bonus having all four doors having electric windows.

Saves me some money doing total closure.

Managed to put my parrot in with stereo.

Now just the reversing sensors to do.
