Angry Sure there's something in the water

I’ve had so many near misses this week it’s not funny

    Tuesday

Blue 54 Vectra joins M56. Driver has the phone on the right ear and is looking at the papers on the passenger seat whilst trying to move right from the slip road into the space I’m in on the inside lane during rush our. Big Brakes, Horn the lot … 10 minutes later the phone moves to the left ear as she leaves the M56 onto the M6.

    Wednesday

    1. Tail-gated for 10 miles by a Merc who couldn’t understand that all three lanes were full and I had no where to go without running someone off the road.

    2. Had a Focus decide that indicators mean they have right of way when I am alongside and passing. Thank god for ABS!

    Thursday

Four car pile up on M56 makes a 20 minute run into 2 hours. Locals using a country road near Warrington decide that they can drive down the middle of the road thus keeping their cars clean and running me into a hedge twice!

    Friday

    1. Silver golf NO lights on at 6am doin 90ish undertakin, pushing in, diving from lane 1 to 3 to 2 to1 and so on and forcing other to drop anchor.

    2. Old Mondeo comes across three lanes and the Chevrons to leave the M56 onto M60 forcing me to decide whether to slam on or exchange wings.

Can’t wait for the weekend! I’m going to hibernate!

I know what you mean mate. It's a nightmare nowadays.

I know it's not their fault but where are the police when you need them. ;-)

Yes, but you're allowed time off for good behaviour.

I do a lot of driving on the M53/M56 as I live on the Wirral but work in Runcorn and the standard of driving you see during rush hour heading towards manchester is amazing. I saw one of those little smart roadsters a while ago roll up the emankment going onto the M56 after being cut up by a tranny van. Thankfully the guy was ok.

Just driven from down the M50/A449 to Monmouth. A449 is a wide dual carriageway. Not been that way for quite a few years and for no apparent reason an 800 yard stretch of it has been dropped to 50mph. As you come around a sweepig bend discovered that it had been chosen for one reason. The stretch includes a lay-by and sat in that lay-by was.......a scam camera.

Never have I seen such a cynical and blatantly obvious revenue raising extortion exercise. My blood boiled and it made me want to resign I was that ashamed.

Grumpano did you get sent the photo automatically? I am just working out what to do with my latest. I have an NIP with 28 days to reply. I think the first things is to ask for a photo, then calibration certificate. Then I will have to work out who was driving....
