What am I missing

I have a rattle under my bonnet, I've tracked it down to the engine cover.

It's lose at the front, should there be a bar or hinge in here, piccy below?

i dont think so or mine are missing aswell...mine rattled but i stuck some rubber to the inside of the silver engine cover now it vibrates but does not rattle
