Mp3 Stereo

First thing I'm after doing once I pic the Vectra up at weekend is a Mp3 head unit, Ideally a vauxhall one, I have no Idea what unit is in the car or what to replace it with, The Model is an 07 Life so I imagine it is a standard CD, now for the questions What model stereo do I need?, how much should I pay? where to get it? and are they easy enough to put in? Sadly, the most basic Vx mp3 unit is the CD30MP3, but IIRC they retail at a few hundred quid!

You may be able to get one on ebay, but it MUST be correctly decoded from the donor car and then coded to yours. Probably easier to buy an aftermarket HU and fascia adaptor

cheers, So if it isn't properly decoded from the original car it won't work in mine? take it that off ebay you would just be taking their word it was decoded

you need proof that it is in delivery mode ( decoded from the old car) or you're buying a doorstop

thats exactly what you need.... just check the fascia is the right colour..

Got that exact unit in the missus Astra. It's basic but does the job and on her standard SRi display it shows Albums and tracks fine.
