Wiper linkage noise question

guys i have a question regarding my wipers. when i use the wipers on intermitant wipe when they go to the bottom of the screen there is like a clunk when they stop and im sure that the noise is there but less when on normal wiping. is this normal or should i get the dealer to look at it?

get it looked at, it could be the first signs of the start of linkage failure..

IIRC, that's how mine started many moons ago. I put it down to needing adjusting at the next service, but it failed before I had chance!

EDIT; No it wasn't, it was occasionally whacking the side trim. Different means, same end.

Yep sounds like the good old linkage problem. My passenger one just failed this week, 6 months out of warrenty. Glad it wasnt middle of winter. Been quoted £120 to have it replaced at dealers.

so as its in warrenty prob best time to get it looked at then. doesnt make the noise when on normal wiping but ill ask asap
