PVS "What a Friendly Bunch of People"

Well i would just like to say what a good day out , great weather, great stands and what a friendly bunch of folks on some of the stands.
It is a pity that when we arrived on Vectra-c stand during the whole day only 2 people came over to see/talk to us, no sign from any of the organisers (to our disappointment).
But at least our RO "Big Phil" spoke to us on arrival Cheers Mate!!!

Well lets hope the BMW owners club , have more a more friendly approach to fellow members.

Considering I was sat next to your car most of the day and never sw you itshard to comment. But its good you came to chat to us too

All the orginisers were down by the gazebo all day so don't know how you missed them. Still, as you say, enjoy the BMW sites

FFS, do you expect 49 other owners to rush up to you and make a fuss

You are a grown man FFS so act like one. If you want to park up then disappear then how the hell can anyone talk to you. I and a lot of other members were stood chatting by your car for quite a while and a lot of members were actually sat right in front of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you can't be arsed to introduce yourself to members and mix in then why should everyone else flock to see you

No other member has posted anything like this and there were quite a few "newbies" there.
They made the effort so why couldn't you

I'm sure with that kind of attitude, people will run to you and bathe your royal feet "IF" you can be bothered to come and see us humble Vectra drivers !
Sorry pal but that kind of post stinks !
You should fit in with the BMW crowd and they're welcome to you !

I think your totally WRONG Mate. You have a set of legs that enable you to walk around and introduce yourself. I could not believe that you advertised your motor on ebay saying we will be at PVS come and see it. I walked up to the strip and returned and you had gone. Your loss mate. This is the most friendliest bunch you will ever find.
I was a little embarrassed about going at about 3pm but i had to drive all the way back to Manchester to collect my daughter. 7am to 3pm was not to bad and i met a lot of people i have never seen before.

Have to agree with him a bit as I tried to chat and it did not go well.

Can I suggest that perhaps there is some sort of meet and greet at the next. Meeting. Maybe a way of recording whos car is whos just as a start.
Not everybody is comfortable trying to join in when people are having conversations esp when you have your family with you.

I would have thought that at least someone directing where you car goes and acting as a guide/intro would be polite and help the club meet neewbies

Well this guy obviously feels a little like me!!
Maybe the moderators shud sit back and be adult about my constructive feedback, it may improve what is in my opinion a great owners forum on the net, but it lacks the personal touch at meets.

Honesty is the best policy i feel , and i am just being honest guys

bye bye if your that bothered why are you still signed in,it was my first meet as i have only been with the club 6 months ,and as the others have said you are a grown man not our fault i tou wanted to be billy no mates.so once again tutty bye move along nothing to see here
