OMG tell em to get f***** mate. Do you have your receipt from when you paid? How does £235 become £900!!!!
Well when you get in touch with them make sure you give em hell! threaten to get in touch with motoring mags such as TV if they argue, although id like to see them try.
Think this has got to be a clerical error.......:
If you needed a new screen insurance excess is normally only £50-£60...
I used to work for them and they are soft as **** when it comes to stuff like this , to be honest 900 is way overpriced it must be an error.
Even if it has rain sensors and light sensor it aint gonna cost that lol. Just ring the head office in chesterfield 0800 919 700 and if they don't concur that it is an error and start playin funny ******s just threaten em with the press and legal action etc , they will fold faster than superman on laundry day , I guarantee it !.
If you have the original paperwork ( think it's called a qd1 ) they aint got a leg to stand on, trust me don't worry.
I've known for cars to come in to fitting centres looking like they were fresh from the scrapyard and because a pre inspection was'nt carried out , the customer would then claim all the damage was done in the centre ,lol. They would end up repairing and spraying the whole car just to keep the customer quiet , just to avoid bad press and save face.
let us know how u get on m8 .
I had 2 windscreens last November, a couple of weeks apart, got them both from autoglass through my insurance and never paid a penny for some reason ??
