    Default Karcher Foam Gun ?

I have a K2.3 series Karcher pressure washer

and wondered one of these would be a worthy purcahse ?

If so which foam product could I use with cold water or can they only be used with warm water ?

Where can the foam solution(s) be brought ?

Personally - and I'm sure othes will agree - I would buy a foam lance from Auto-Brite, an approved trader on here. Excellent quality, apparently better than the Karcher model.

He also sells the snowfoam and anything else you need

The Karcher one is alright basically - it's what I used to use and as it only cost me £6 it was worth getting. Main niggles are that the bottle is a bit small and there's no adjustment of the spray - either spread or concentration of spray. It doesn't produce a great amount of foam, so it's a bit watery and falls of more quickly than a better lance.

I recently got the AutoBrite brass one, and boy is there a difference! It's a lot more money but worth it IMO. Depends what you want out of it and how much the Karcher one is costing you. Like I said, I got mine for £6 so it was worth it to use it for a while. If you're looking at paying the full whack of £15(?), then I'd maybe put that towards getting a proper foam lance.

I agree with D. But the Karscher bottle does work. Just does not produce as much foam so it falls off too quickly.

Those bottles are the same BTW. Just that one of them has the stopper on the end.

would the soap mix not be a contributing factor to the lack of foam then! btw where do you get these bottles from?

Soap mix makes a huge difference, I put a bit of citrus gloss in mine, gives a thick glossy foam which sticks good to the body ...

Do the Autobrite lances work with any Karcher pressure washer then? On the verge of buying one primarily for foaming the beast but don't want to spend a mortgage on one that has a built in microwave. Just want a simple PW that the Autobrite lance will work with?

Yep, just state that you want the Karcher fitment for the lance - it's what comes on it by default anyway if you don't specify a preference. It'll fit the standard Karcher trigger handle.
