Leighton Buzzard McMini Meet...

I met up with Mark (GSi3.2) for breakfast this morning, you can probably guess where. After an average helping of McSlop we began with a little drive.

Mark seemed pleasantly surprised in driving my diesel, but I'll let him do the talking.

I also took his GSi for a spin, now thats a lot of fun. Seriously good power and it seems to love getting a good hammering!!! We got into a little but of fun with an Astra whilst I was driving the GSI, which ended up with me driving at, well, friggin quick, and the Astra in the background - although it did surprise us is all I'll say!

As per discussions today, we definitly need more meets in the South. There's a number of us down here, watch this space.......

That was a good morning..And yes, I was suprised with the CDti 150...Could even buy one myself..

If you want a new game guess how much fuel Rob used in 8 miles in the GSi and guess what the MINIMUM fuel consumption he acheived in it was..

if mine is anything to go by how about 7miles to the gallon.... i too am very impressed by the 1.9 150.

Okay, that's right Ed, But how much did he USE??

I bet he used a lot less than you, I don,t know too much about deisels, i think they still do many to the gallon even when hammered, I,ll take an "un"educated guess say 30mile to the gallon.
