    Default Normal operating temperature?

I've got a 1.8 vectra c Sri and have noticed the temperature guage sits just a fraction above the middle and not dead on the middle.
Is this a problem or do some vectra's guages sit at this point??
    Cheers.

Mine's at 0. It's not moved for 5 weeks . Carnt wait to get home to drive a manual motor.

Yes i think it's quite the norm for it to sit just above the mid. Should be no problem.

The gauge is nothing more than an approximate indicator. Somewhere around the middle is fine.

If I go into the 'hidden' menus of my CD70 stereo, it tells me the coolant temperature is 94 deg C, but the temperature gauge itself only reads 88 to 89 degC. Presumably they're both using the same sensor.

As long as its in the "norm" and not consistantly in the red or blue areas there is no problem!

Press and hold down the settings button until you hear a 'bong' and the display should say something like 'testmode on'.

To cancel, either press and hold down the button again, or turn off the stereo and remove the ignition key.

Engine temperature, true speed, total hours the stereo has been on (and that includes a breakdown of FM, AM, CD, & MP3 listening times, sat nav usage times), GPS stuff, and loads more besides.

Just scroll through and you'll see.
