    Default Tyres Wont balance

I have had my tyres balanced 3 times and I still get vibarations in the sheering wheel.

THe guy said that my wheels took a lot of weight to balance (one side had 115g!)

We have tried turning the tyres 180 degrees with no joy.

The company are thinking about ordering a new set of tyres to see if that fixes it.

    I have 17" Ellite wheels with 215/50/17s

Anyone else found that they wheel needs a lot of weight to balance??

When I had my last set of tyres fitted they used a standard balance and the wheels juddered like mad at speed. I went back and they used an Aluminuim balance where weights are added to both the inner and outer edges of the wheel (outer edge stuck on ones inside). The guy said the standard balance is usually fine for ally wheels but he reckons the extra weight of my car was what caused the issue. It probably isn't this but maybe something to think about??

Gsi3.2 always suggets having them balanced on 'fine' settings, which means the weights are to the nearest gram, not to the nearest 5 grams.

    Worth a try?

I have had balancing on front and back on just at the back.

I agree the inner and outer balancing was better
