Number plates

I need some number plates for my other car.

Nothing fancy, just want to pass the MOT.

Looked in Helfrauds when I was in there the other day and they want something like £13 for EACH plate. HELL !

Anyone know of anywhere that can do legal plates for cheaper?? That Helfrauds price is a disgrace IMO, and they want all me personal info too.

I've actually got a rear plate, but it has no markings on at all, except of course for the car reg. Would I actually need a pair, or would I get away with just a new front one?

I don't think you'll avoid having to give the personal info Ste. It's a requirement these days to get plates. The plate maker has to keep logs of all the plates they make.

ebay fella try searching "legal plates" or somet similar will get them both for abt £11 and road legal...no docs required...i got mine from there see if i can find link..

Do they not have to have the plate makers name and address on them also Duncan seem to have read somewhere tony

i know a place that i got personalised plates done,you can have any
design as you like and the set i bought only cost £20 but im sure he
will just do a front for ya and im sure i cud get it done and send it on

There's a bloke on Ebay who's in scotland who does cheap plates. There's a thread on him here somewhere but I've not been able to find it.

Inc postage £13.50 - thats half the price of halfords. Good price.
